Quadrant Growth Fund No. 2 (“Quadrant”) has partnered with leading New Zealand cyber security specialist providers Quantum Security Services (“Quantum”), ZX Security (“ZX”), and Helix Security Services (“Helix”).

Quantum, ZX, and Helix (together, “the Group”) have a strong reputation in the New Zealand market for their specialist cyber security competencies spanning governance, risk and compliance, penetration testing, cloud security, and cyberstrategy advisory services. Each company’s deep expertise has attracted
interest from both major domestic and international customers. Quadrant is investing alongside the founders and management teams in each of the three businesses. Together, the Group has over 120 team members with market leading capabilities and experience. Quadrant will partner with Eugene Gibney, Simon Howard, Ian White, and Sam Andrewsto help accelerate
investment in their teams and expand into new service offerings and geographies, both organically and via acquisitions.

The need for specialised cyber security services continues to grow in an increasingly digital age. The number and complexity of cyber threats are on the rise as seen by the increasing frequency of high profile data breaches in both New Zealand and Australia. According to CERT NZ, New Zealand’s government authority on cyber security, the number of incidents has increased almost eight-fold between 2017 and 2021.
