Quadrant Closes $500 million Private Equity FundNew Team AdditionMarcus Darville We are delighted to announce that Marcus Darville has joined the Quadrant team. Marcus has been in the Private Equity industry for over fourteen years. He commenced his career in the UK with NatWest Ventures before joining the AMP in 1994 where he developed AMP’s private equity activity, over a twelve year period. Marcus worked on over fifteen completed transactions. The key deals he led include Tasman Building Products, Olex Cables, Vision Group and Orphan Australia. InvestmentsSentinel Limited Quadrant Private Equity No.1 has invested NZ$20 million in Sentinel Limited, a leading supplier of reverse mortgage products to the seniors market. The group includes Sentinel in New Zealand, Australian Seniors Finance in Australia, and Seniors Money in Ireland. Quadrant’s capital will strengthen the financial base of the business allowing it to achieve rapid deployment of its business model. Sentinel is targeting to launch in two to three countries per year. Quadrant’s PortfolioQuadrant Private Equity No. 1 is a $265 million Private Equity Fund which was raised in November 2005. Prior to the formation of the current fund the management team raised and managed three Quadrant Capital Funds bringing the total funds under management to in excess of $500 million.
